History

Below is a very broad overview of the history of the area of the world known as Makrinos and areas east of it like Antrekironos.

• The Protan Epoch: An age of about 20,000 years or more before the founding of the Mezoic Empire, which included the rise of the dragons and the giant kingdoms, and the arrival of elves. Most information about this era is lost to time.
• The Mezoic Empire: The rise and fall of the Lizard Folk empire, an era of about 5000 years.
• The Sulouise Empire: The Sulouise people conquered Makrinos from the east, absorbing its independent city-states into their empire and eventually becoming the last part of it to fall. This era begins about 1000 years after the fall of the Mezoic Empire and lasted about 2500 years. The official fall of the Empire is marked as year 0 and happened nearly 2000 years ago.
• The Era of the Sea Princes: Monarchs who rose to take control of various fragmented parts of the remaining Sulouise Empire beginning around 300 I.L. and lasting to about 700 I.L.
• The Republican Age: The Republic of Makrinos was founded in the year 1595 I.L.
